Job Description:                      


  1. Design systems and procedures for United States Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) data reporting applications to assist healthcare practices and providers to select measures to use for Quality Payment Programs, Quality Improvement Programs and  Clinical Transformation reporting options.
  2. Conduct work simplification and measurement studies, prepare operations and procedures manuals.
  3. Perform Production Support, Production Sprint Release deployment, Manage MIPS Qualified Registry/QCDR development and tools to collect clinical data from MIPS eligible clinicians (both individual and groups) and submission to CMS.
  4. Gather and synthesize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy and CMS Reporting tools.
  5. Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to improve total quality of care and clinical transformation.
  6. Map the data fields in QRURs annually to track practices' cost performance by category over time.
  7. Use object-oriented programming languages and client/server applications development processes and technology to create tools that help providers and practices to improve workflows, practices adapt to new quality-based reimbursement practices by increasing revenue with Transitional Care Management (TCM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM).
  8. Perform Data analysis by analyzing, validating and documenting system feeds and calculated results, prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  9. Lead data extraction process for Quality improvement programs, to identify gap in care in the form of interfaces, extraction of data from CCDs or HL7 files.
  10. Perform all of the foregoing in CMS using:
  • Meaningful Use/ PQRS / MIPS/QRUR/ Quality Improvement Program;
  • Clinical Quality Measures and Measure Definitions and Calculations;
  • HL7 and IHE interfaces;
  • Salesforce, Tableau;
  • Data Reporting to Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services;
  • PQRS or MIPS registry data submission;
  • Health Information Exchange and Master Patient Index;
  • EMR integration, Data Extraction and CCDA parsing;
  • Certified H.Rs (Allscripts, Eclinicalworks, Practice Fusion, ADS Docassist, Greenway, GE Centricity, DigiDMS); and
  • Software application confirming with HIPAA and patient privacy.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and 1 year of experience in job offered or 1 year of experience in the Related Occupation



Business Analyst or any other job title performing the following job duties:

  1. Applying technical knowledge to determine end-to-end design requirements for healthcare transformational and quality improvement projects involving line of business, software developers and vendors; Analyzing business needs and assess feasibility of enhancements to existing applications or building new applications;
  2. Facilitating analytic support services activities by applying technical expertise to evaluation of healthcare practices and clinicians to make quality changes, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs;
  3. Working closely with stakeholders and senior management to define strategies for healthcare technical solutions and data & measures management objectives;
  4. Eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements; Creating artifacts in the form of Use Cases, Business Requirements, Functional requirements, UI Specifications, Business Rules, wireframes and client presentations;
  5. Collaborating and Liaising with Subject Matter Experts, Development Team, Client, and Quality Assurance teams for product acceptance;
  6. Engaging in business process design and aid high-level business process design efforts with assistance of stakeholders and end users;
  7. Facilitating EMR Integration and data collection process;
  8. Creating Reports with extensive use of advanced Excel and Salesforce to create weekly, ad-hoc reports for consumer IT usage analysis;
  9. Supporting Product release and ticketing system;
  10. Performing other duties as assigned by management using all of the following:
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Meaningful use/ PQRS
  • HL7 and IHE interfaces
  • HIE and MPI
  • Agile and Waterfall projects and PostGres /SQL databases;
