Junior Integration Analyst

Position Summary –

The junior integration analyst is tasked with planning, coordinating, implementing and managing the assimilation of data and or new software applications into the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII) existing systems.  The position provides technical expertise required for advanced information technology systems. It further provides evaluation, gap analysis, design, integration and analysis of the information technology systems supporting NJII. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director.  Metrics performance will be based upon completion of assignments and results obtained.

Director of Technology Services

May serve as a project team lead

 

Tasks List –

  • Participates in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including business requirement analysis, data mapping, data building, unit testing, regression testing, and systems integration and user acceptance testing
  • Assists in manipulating data into existing NJII systems
  • Determines systemic needs, recommends changes, implements new software solutions and processes
  • Facilitates, develops and implements datamining solutions in collaboration with NJII business owners and instructs users about the interfaces
  • Develops and evaluates systems specifications.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of major project timelines.
  • Plans and implements Technology initiatives.
  • Provides consultation on design, applications and implementation of new or re-designed systems.
  • Assists in development, testing and support of the institutional risk management program for business continuity, security and disaster recovery.
  • Assists with acquisitions management, technology budgeting, resource and integration allocation.

 

Additional Duties –

  • May be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Creates wireframes, technical specifications and test plans
  • Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET to code application programs.
  • Designs, code and test new Windows and web software applications

 

 

Prerequisite Qualifications –

  1. Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related field.

*Additional job related experience/and/or education may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

 

 

  1. Experience Requirements

2 years Analyst/application development related work experience in computing and/or healthcare environment.
