Project Assistant, Measures Management

Position Summary – The associate is an organized team member responsible for implementation, maintenance, and/or coordination activities across simultaneous projects which contribute to the success of external clients and NJII projects/services. The associate manages data submissions ensuring the integrity of the data quality and will provide training and full support to external clients and team members. The associate is tasked with planning, coordinating, implementing and managing the integration of related data into new or existing software applications.

The associate helps to gather information to evaluate and/or report on business requirements and processes. They will provide data analysis to support, compile, and report key information for operations/business development objectives related to health care delivery, payment reform and/or quality improvement. The associate may assist in identifying opportunities for funding through federal and state regulations. The associate may also interpret regulations, policy and any potential new healthcare law.

Job Specific Functions-

Data analysis

Performs basic data analysis functions as assigned, including but not limited to data entry, formatting and basic visualization

Software Development Life Cycle

Assist with business requirement analysis, data mapping, regression testing and user acceptance testing under supervision

Sales

Assist with research to make sales target list as directed

Technical support

Provides product and configuration support under direct supervision

Business deliverables

Assist in developing business deliverables for new/enhanced capabilities under direct supervision

Prerequisite Qualifications – Relevant work experience may replace the JD's educational requirements which will be determined at the discretion of the Senior Vice President.

  • Experience or knowledge of health information technology, including but not limited to electronic health records (EHR), patient care flow, and hospital computer systems
  • Demonstrated project and work planning experience

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and providing clear documentation
  • Experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)
  • Familiarity with business process design and aid the high-level business process design efforts with
  • Experience supporting client accounting and reporting, or other applicable financial industry experience.
  • Demonstrated Strong focus on execution and delivery with ability to make recommendations and mitigate timeline risks
