Intern - HIN Analyst

Position Summary –

Position assists directors or managers who are also team leads for NJII service lines. They assist in managing project development from beginning to end, tracking project milestones and deliverables, liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations. Also assists in daily operational activities at NJII.  Position will also be working directly with NJII clients, such as healthcare providers, hospital teams, etc. The tasks assigned to this position could vary daily/weekly.

Reports to - 

  • NJII Director of Architecture and Government Technologies

Supervises -

  • None

 

Tasks List –

  • Create and Modify Documentation, workflows and as built diagrams.
  • Convert raw data to required formats
  • Document requirements
  • Create meeting Minutes
  • May serve as a liaison between NJII and stakeholder key contacts.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Additional duties -

  • May serve as a liaison between the university and regulatory and governmental agencies, regional operation companies, regulated service providers, vendors and telecommunications organizations.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications -

  1. Education requirements
  • Enrolled in Bachelor in Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration, or related field
  • Additional job related experience/and/or education may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

  • 1+ years of experience in business analysis or Healthcare
  • Two years job related work in Healthcare, computing and/or communications, education environment.

  • Knowledge about healthcare industry
